- In Jun 2007: PetroVietnam Gas City Investment and Deverlopment Joint Stock Company (Gas City) was established under the Decision of Petrovietnam (PVN).

- In Aug 2007: The company was licenced the first time by Investment and Planning Department of Hanoi with the charter capital of VND150 billion.

- In Jun 2010: The company increased its charter capital to VND188.7 billion.

- December 29, 2010: Officially traded on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
