- 1996: Kien Giang Trade State-Owned Company was established through merging of Kien Giang General Materials Company and Kien Giang General Trade Company;
- 28 June 2006: Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee issued the Decision No.1033/QD-UBND on establish Kien Giang Trade and Tourism Company under the model of Parent Company - Subsidiary through merging of Kien Giang Trade Company (Kigitraco) and Kien Giang Tourist Company (Kien Giang Tourist);
- 30 June 2010: Transformed from a State-Owned Company into Kien Giang Trade and Tourism Limited Company under the business registration certificate No.1700523203 issued for the first time by Kien Giang Department of Planning and Investment;
- 22 February 2017: Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee issued the Decision No.372/QD-UBND on approving the equitization plan of Kien Giang Trade and Tourism Limited Company;
- 29 March 2017: Initial Public Offering (IPO) was launched at Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) with average winning bid of VND11,285 per share;
- 30 October 2017: Became a public company;
- 01 August 2017: Transformed into Kien Giang Trading Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of VND364,738,330,000 under the business registration certificate No.1700523203 amended for the 4th time by Kien Giang Department of Planning and Investment;
- 22 June 2018: Traded on the UPCOM market;
