- 19 May 1991: The company was established known as Tam Hiep Wood Processing Factory with the initial capital of VND105 million and 60 workers.
- June 1993: Tam Hiep Wood Processing Factory became Duc Thanh Wood Processing Co., Ltd with the registered capital of VND2.025 billion and more than 130 workers.
- 08 August 2000: Duc Thanh Wood Processing Co., Ltd was put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with the charter capital of VND5.05 billion and 20 shareholders.
- 19 May 2006: Mekong Capital invested USD400,000 in Duc Thanh; which raised the charter capital to VND64,116 billion.
- 08 May 2007: Bankinvest Group officially invested $2 million in the company.
- 2008: Increased the charter capital to VND74,100 billion.
- 09 January 2009: Increased the charter capital to VND103.723 billion.
- 17 November 2009: Listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE).
- September 2013: Elite Fund (Finland) invested in GDT and became a major shareholder of the Company.
- 2014: Completed the construction of the expanded factory located in Tan Uyen, Binh Duong to increase the factory scale up to 38,000m2.
- 2015: Increased the charter capital to VND129,654,550,000.
- 19 October 2016: Increased the charter capital to VND142,611,880,000.
- 11 March 2017: Increased the charter capital to VND149,094,600,000.
- 06 November 2018: Increased the charter capital to VND163,941,760,000.
- 18 January 2019: Increased the charter capital to VND171,369,680,000.
- October 01, 2021: Increased the charter capital to VND179,803,580,000.
