- 19 April 1976: The Southern Rubber Industry Company was established under the Decision No.427- HC/QD issued by the Vietnamse government;
- 1997:Yokohama Tire Vietnam Company was established, a joint venture with Japanese Yokohama and Mitsubishi partner to produce motorbike and light truck tires & tubes;
- 2000: Certified with Japan Industrial Standard JIS K6366/JIS K6367 for motorcycle tires;
- 2001: Certified with ISO 9001 – 2000;
- 2002: Certified with Japan Industrial Standard K4230 for automobile tires;
- 2003: Certified with ISO 14001 – 2000 and produced Rim 13 & rim 14 passenger car radial tires;
- 2005: Produced radial v15, v16 automobile tires and signed a cooperative contract with Continental
Germany AG to produce light truck tyres;
- 2006: Transformed into The Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of VND90 billion;
- November 2006: Charter capital was raised to VND120 billion;
- 2007: Ranked 59/75 among the top tire manufacturers worldwide. Awarded with prestigious exporter certificate. Charter capital was raised to VND150 billion in July 2007.
- 2008: Signed joint-venture contract with Philips Carbon Black.Ltd to set up black carbon production line;
- 2009: Technology transfer contract was signed with Qingdao Gaoce (China). Charter capital
increased to VND 250 billion. Listed on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE);
- 2010: Increased charter capital to VND 422 billion, signed technology transfer contract on all steel radial tire and quality improvement of bias tire with Qingdao Gaoce (China) and signed strategic collaboration contract with Ba Dinh Investment & Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company;
- 2012: Increased charter capital to VND585.2 billion;
- 2013: Increased charter capital to VND672.9 billion;
- 2014: Inaugurated and put steel radial tire factory into operation;
- 2015: Increased charter capital to VND740 billion;
- 2016: Increased charter capital to VND1,036 billion and put the passenger car radial tire factory with a capacity of 500.000 tires/year into operation;
- 2017: Put the passenger car radial tire factory with a capacity of 700.000 tires/year into operation;
