ITA: Tantao Energy signs an MoU

Tantao Energy Corporation (TEC) was agreed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Kien Luong 1 Thermal Power Project.

After the negotiation process for the contents of the MoU for the development of Kien Luong 1 Thermal Power Project among the investor TEC (under Tan Tao Group), the General Directorate of Energy (under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) and the relevant ministries, until November 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Trade agreed to allow the General Directorate of Energy on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to signed an MoU with TEC.

Besides, TEC and Tan Tao Group are negotiating with foreign partners to choose a partner to co-invest in this project.
