TDW: Explanation for the business results in quarter 1/2014

Thu Duc Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Thu Duc Wasuco J.S.C) has explained the profit after tax in quarter 1/2014 reached 5,604,902,744 dongs (increasing 1,026,352,732 dongs – 22.42%) as follows:

-          Net revenue increased 5.99 billion dongs (5.95%) because sales production increased 4.77%.

-          Financial revenue increased 1.62 billion dongs (816.2%) because the company estimated interests from uncompleted contracts as of 31 Mar. 2014.

-          Other incomes decreased 162.78 million dongs (38.8%) because the company collected difference price.

-          Cost of goods sold in quarter 1/2014 decreased 7.97 billion dongs (11.36%) because expense from water-mete discount in quarter 1/2013 was corrected into selling expense.
