SBA: Explanation for business results in quarter 1/2014

Song Ba Joint Stock Co. (SBA) has announced explanation for business results in quarter 1/2014 as follows:

-          Profit after tax in quarter 1/2014                                                         : 46,216,376,113 dongs

-          Profit after tax in quarter 1/2013                                                         : 16,860,956,094 dongs

-          Increasing                                                                                       : 29,355,420,019 dongs (286.74%)

-          Main reasons made a business result in quarter 1/2014 increased:

+    Water for hydroelectricity in quarter 4/2013 was full, so electricity output was up in quarter 1/2014.

+    Output of Krong H’nang Hydropower Plant in quarter 1/2014 was 26.95 million kWh while output in quarter 1/2013 was 11.02 million kWh.

+    Output of Khe Dien Hydropower Plant in quarter 1/2014 was 36.73 million kWh while output in quarter 1/2013 was 6.67 million kWh.

+ Total output of the two plants was 36.73 million kWh and revenue was 46.11 billion dongs decreased by 29.25 billion dongs (173.49%) compared to this of quarter 1/2013.
