VNM: Explanation for separate business result in Q1, 2014

Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) explained business result in Q1,2014 as follows:

Profit after tax in Q1/2014 decreased 10,7% compared to Q1/2013 because:

-         Cost of raw materials increased sharply.

-         Vinamilk boosted purchasing power and held market share through implementing sales activities, promotion programs.

-         Corporate income tax of some plants increased.
