HJS: Explanation for change in profit after tax in Quarter 3/2012
According to the consolidated financial statement Quarter 3/2012, the profit after tax of Quarter 3/2012 changes more than 10% year on year. Nam Mu Hydropower JSC explained the change in profit after tax as follows:
In Quarter 3/2012, the
profit after tax of the company was VND 6,507,484,274, increased 64.4% year on
year ( Quarter 3/2011 was VND 101,043,631) due to some reasons as below:
1.
Increase in revenue, profit of subsidiaries.
- Increase
in electric manufacture revenue of holding company: The electric revenue of
Quarter 3/2012 increased VND 1,013,999,472 compared with last year because the
holding company started the operation of Nam An Hydroelectric factory since the
beginning of September 2012.
- Increase
in revenue of subsidiaries (Song Da Tay Do JSC) with the amount of VND
312,704,605.
2.
Increase in extraordinary income: Increase in
extraordinary income of the holding company from the selling buying exhaust gas
of the Nam Ngan Hydroelectric project with the amount of VND 2,248,936,605.
3.
Decrease in expenses: Total expenses of
Quarter III/2012 of the holding company decreased year on year by 16% due to
financial expense and administrative fee of the enterprise.
