HBD: Explanation for change in operating result in Quarter 3/2012
According to the Financial Statement Quarter III/2012, profit after tax decreases from VND 1,511,569,011 in Quarter III/2011 to VND 140,469,340, decreases by - VND 1,511,569,011. On 02/11/2012, Binh Duong PP Pack Making JSC explained the decrease in operating result in Quarter III/2012 as follows:
In Quarter III/2012, in spite of the difficulties in the economy, the raised manpower expense, material cost and electric fee, the selling price dropped from VND 4,756 in Quarter III/2011 to VND 4,400 in Quarter III/2012. The output of PP bag decreased significantly as 2,205,480 pieces in Quarter III/2011 and 1,842,762 pieces in Quarter III/2012. The selling price too low while the initial cost increased by 30% compared with last year were the main reason of the decreased profit after tax.
