PVS: Explanation for change in operating result in Quarter 3/2012

According to the Financial Statement Quarter III/2012, profit after tax increases 21.13% year on year. On 01/11/2012, PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation explained the increase in operating result in Quarter III/2012 as follows:

- Profit from supply service of the seismic survey ship 2D/3D of Quarter 3/2012 was higher than Quarter 3/2011.

- The enterprise income tax in Quarter 3/2012 increased: in Quarter 3/2011, PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation was under the policy of discount 50% of tax. Hereby the enterprise tax rate in Quarter 3/2011 would lower than the applied tax rate in Quarter 3/2012.
