FDG: Explanation for business result in Q3.2012

Dongthap Trading Corporation (Docimexco) has explained the fluctuation in profit between Quarter 3.2012 and Quarter 3.2011 according to Docimexco’s financial statements (consolidated):

-         Loss after tax in Quarter 3/2011: -VND6,140,730,565

-         Loss after tax in Quarter 3/2012: -VND22,373,747,230

Reason:

-         Revenue in Quarter 2/2012 was 43% of Quarter 2/2011, but profit in Quarter 2/2012 was higher than in Quarter 2/2011 because:

+         In Quarter 2/2011, input expense was higher than price of selling, but in Quarter 2/2012, input expenses decreased.

+         Exchange rate of USD/VND in quarter 2/2012 was not much fluctuation.

+         Interest expense in Quarter 2/2012 was less than in Quarter 2/2011.

+         General & administration expenses decreased strongly.
