AGM: Explanation for business result in Quarter 3/2012

An Giang Import – Export Company has explained the fluctuation in business result in Quarter 3/2012:

-         Rice sales volume increased 15,174 tons (32.74%) but the average price of rice decreased 1,093 dongs/kg (10.6%), leading to net revenue went up 7.6%. Price of rice was bought by the company which decreased 17.93%, making to gross profit in Quarter 3/2012 went up 20.55 billion dongs (52.91%).

-         Selling expenses and general and administration expenses increased 10.55 billion dongs.

-         Therefore, profit after tax in Quarter 3/2012 was 17.79 billion dongs, increasing 10.337 billion dongs (78.36%) compared to the same period of last year.
