TNA: Explanation for business result in QI/2012

Thien Nam Trading Import Export Corporation explained the difference in profit and loss between Quarter I/2012 and Quarter I/2011, according to the consolidated financial statements in Quarter I/2012:

-         Net revenue in Quarter I/2012 was VND241.44 billion, decreasing 20.88% from Quarter I/2011.

-         Profit after tax in Quarter I/2012 was VND10.01 billion, decreasing 27.46% from Quarter I/2011.

-         The decreases of revenue and profit because in Quarter I/2012 there were less advantages. Reason: Competition in the steel industry, demand for steels decreased, interest rate rose, selling of steels decreased, many companies in the steel industry must sell at a loss for capital recovery leading income and profit decreased compared to the same period of last year.
