DPM: Explanation for business result in Q1/2012

PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation explained the business results in Quarter 1/2012 higher than in Quarter 1/2011 as follows:

-         Selling of Urea fertilizer production in Quarter 1/2012 rose 29% compared to Quarter 1/2011. Besides, selling prices of Urea fertilizer in Quarter 1/2012 increased 24% compared the same period of last year leading to revenue and profit increased.

-         Financial revenue in Quarter 1/2012 rose 70%, while financial expenses in Quarter 1/2012 decreased compared the same period of last year leading to financial profit went up.
