Shares up on erratic trading
National stocks fluctuated during this morning's trading but managed to gain a few points in the last few minutes.

On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index added 1 per cent to 472.99 points, with nearly 60 per cent of listed codes advancing.
The VN30 edged up 0.9 per cent to 544.18 points.
The market value hit VND1.6 trillion (US$76.2 million), soaring 74.4 per cent compared to yesterday morning, as trading volumes reached nearly 95.4 million shares.
Half of the 10 leading shares by capitalisation posted gains, including property developers Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG) and Vincom (VIC), food processor Masan (MSN), Vietcombank (VCB) and Military Bank (MBB).
Meanwhile, three others tumbled, including Vietinbank (CTG), Sacombank (STB) and Vinamilk (VNM).
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index pared its earlier loss to regain 0.05 per cent, finishing at 80.41 points.
The value of trades jumped 31 per cent over yesterday morning's figure to VND781.7 billion ($37.2 million) on a volume of 66.6 million shares.
Habubank (HBB) was the most heavily traded stock with around 6.3 million shares changing hands. It retreated 1.4 per cent, ending at VND7,100 per share.
