ACC: Explanation for business result in Q4/2011

Becamex Asphalt and Concrete Joint Stock Company explained the difference in profit after tax in Quarter IV/2011 compared to Quarter IV/2010:

- Profit after tax in Quarter IV/2011: VND13,132,683,743

- Profit after tax in Quarter IV/2010: VND17,483,174,208

Reason:

In 2011, because the global economy has not recovered, foreign investment in Vietnam decreased, and the government reduced public investment. Besides, the workload of projects in Quarter IV/2011 decreased 20% compared to Quarter IV/2010 because of rainy weather.
