SME: Explanation for 05 consecutive floor-plunging sessions

On 09/11/2011, SME Securities Corporation (HNX: SME) explained the 05 consecutive floor-plunging sessions from 02/11/2011 to 09/11/2011 as follows:

- On 02/11/2011, the Vietnam Securities Depository issued a decision on temporarily suspending the depository activities of the Company including securities consignment, securities mortgage, securities transfer, except the securities transfer to close the account or settle the transactions

- On 03/11/2011, the HNX announced that SME stock would be put under alert from 04/11/2011

- Because of tHNX reason, the investors have been affected, the sell volume increased. The consecutive floor-plunging sessions were out of the Company’s control.
