TSC: Explanation for business result in QIII/2011
Techno - Agricultural Supplying JSC (HOSE: TSC) has explained the fluctuation in business result between QIII/2011 and QIII/2010:
• According to the audited financial statements of QIII/2011, TSC’s net revenue was VND831,407,074,567 and decreased 3% from the same period of last year. However, TSC’s net revenue in the first nine months of 2011 reached VND2,180.56 billion, increased 28.42% compared to the first nine months of 2010, and rose 3.83% compared to the plan 2011
• TSC’s profit before tax in QIII/2011 was VND14.832 billion and increased 63.49% from VND9.072 billion of QIII/2010, because prices of agricultural products, especially price of rice, went up highly in the first nine months of 2011 and then made fertilize be sold at reasonable prices
• Total cumulative profit before tax of the first nine months of 2011 was VND27.244 billion, and profit after tax was VND21.795 billion, and all were 23.8% higher than the year plan. If the profit after tax of subsidiary West Food Processing for Export JSC (TSC holds 97.28%) of VND11.782 billion is included, TSC’s cumulative profit after tax of the first nine months of 2011 will be VND33.577 billion, an increased of 49.7% compared to the year plan of VND22.4224 billion.
