SKS: Business operational explanation

According to the Financial Statement QIII/2011, profit after tax of QIII/2011 decreased by 63% year on year (VND884,082,947 and VND2,385,571,755 in 2011 and 2010 respectively). Song Da Transportation Construction JSC (HNX: SKS) explained the decrease in operating result in QIII/2011 as follows:

- Because of the Global recession, the Company has met many difficulities, including capital lack, fluctuating input prices of oil and petroleum while most of contracts were signed last year without price adjustment

- The settlement for constructions was very slow. To ensure the Company’s operation, the Company had to borrow money from credit institutions with high interest.
