SBT: Explanation for business result in QIII/2011

Société De Bourbon Tay Ninh (HOSE: SBT) explained the fluctuation in business results in QIII/2011 compared to QIII/2010:

• The Company balanced the quantity of sugar inventory, so the Company could proactively sell sugar according to its plan. The selling quantity of sugar decreased 21% from the same period of last year

• The cost of goods sold in QIII/2011 on each product increased 31% from QIII/2010 because of the increase in input expenses

• Incomes from financial investment and others has fluctuated but accounted for small proportion

Although the selling price rose 13% from the same period of last year, the main reasons above made the profit before tax in QIII/2011 decrease VND56 billion, or 36%, from QIII/2010.
