CTG: The record date for a new share offering
Viet Nam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (HOSE: CTG) announces the record date for a new share offering:
- Stock symbol: CTG
- Stock type: Common stock
- Par value: VND10,000
- Ex-right date: November 29, 2011
(In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on November 29 & 30, 2011, sellers will not receive rights)
- Record date: December 01, 2011
- Purpose: To implement rights to buy additional shares.
Implementing rights to buy additional shares:
- Expected Offer volume: 337,162,027 shares
+ The State shareholders: 270,761,696 shares
+ The Outside shareholders: 66,400,331 shares
- Exercise ratio: 5:1 (A shareholder owning 01 share will get 01 right, 05 rights will receive 01 new shares)
The number of shares offered to existing shareholders will be rounded to units. The fractional parts and undistributed shares will be offered to other objects at a price not less than to existing shareholders.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 154 shares, the calculation will be: 154/5*1= 30.8 new shares. Therefore, shareholder A will have the right to buy 30 new shares.
- Issue price: VND10,000/share
- Rights to buy shares are transferred only once
- Time to transfer rights: From September 16, 2010 to October 01, 2010
- Time to register and deposit money to buy shares: From December 02, 2011 to December 21, 2011
- The new shares are transferable
