TIX: Explanation for business result in Q3/2011

Tan Binh Import – Export JSC (HOSE: TIX) (Tanimex) explained fluctuation in business result in Quarter 3/2011 compared to the same period last year:

• Profit after tax in Quarter 3/2011: VND11,827,071,337

• Profit after tax in Quarter 3/2010: VND18,333,637,686

• Profit in Quarter 3/2011 decreased 35.49% from Quarter 3/2010.

Reason:

Financial expenses increased VND4.7 billion (105.23%) compared with the same period last year

Selling expenses and General & administrative expenses increased VND5.5 billion (26.4%) compared with the same period last year.
