XMC: Explanation for the change of over 10% in operating result in QII-2011

According to the Consolidated Financial Statement Quarter II/2011, profit after tax is VND 22,500,000,000 with a decrease of VND 2,600,000,000 (10.575%) compared to Quarter II/2010. Vinaconex Xuan Mai Concrete & Construction JSC explained the decrease in operating result in QII/ 2011  as follows:

Reasons for the decrease is that price of input materials (Such as iron, steel, cement, petrol…) went up which made cost of products and projects  increase. Therefore, operating result in Quarter II/2011 decreased. Other reasons is that interest of credit institution increased leading to the increase in financial expenses of Quarter II/2011 year on year.
