VC7: Explanation for the change of over 10% in operating result in QII-2011
According to the Financial Statement Quarter II/2011, profit after income tax decreased by 83.89% compared to Quarter II/2010. No.7 Vietnam Construction JSC explained a decrease in operating result in QII/ 2011 as follows:
Reasons for the decrease is that revenue from sales in Quarter II/2011 droped off year on year. Besides, price of main materials serving for building projects of company such as cement, steel, petrol, oil... increased, which made cost of goods sold go up. Therefore, profit decreased sharply.
