Two foreign banks allowed to increase charter capital

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1602/QĐ-NHNN July 19 to allow the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Branch of the Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd to increase its charter capital to USD 90 million.

This Decision took effect on the date of signing and is an integral part of License No.25/NH-GP issued by the SBV Governor on May 3 rd , 1996.

On the same day, the SBV Governor issued Decision No. 1603/ QĐ-NHNN to allow the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Branch of the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd (BTMU HCMC branch) to increase its charter capital to USD 145 million (Including USD 15 million of the charter capital of its Hanoi Branch) from USD 45 million.

This Decision took effect on the date of signing and is an integral part of License No. 24/ NH-GP issued by the SBV Governor on February 17, 1996.
