NSC: Explanation for business result in Quarter 1.2011

National Seed Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NSC) explained the fluctuation in business results between Quarter 1/2011 and Quarter 1/2010 as follows:

• Total profit after tax in quarter 1/2011 was VND13,093,076,288, increasing 38.13% from Quarter 1/2010:

• Revenue increased VND27,016,136,942, equivalent to 38.57%.

• Operating expense increased VND2,554,001,660, equivalent to 25.08%.

• Profit increased VND3,614,003,735, equivalent to 38.13%.

• The Company’s profit in Quarter 1/2011 was higher than in Quarter 1/2010 thanks to the increase in the Company’s exclusive products sold in markets.
