SBA: Explanation for business result in Quarter 4/2010
Song Ba Joint Stock Company (HOSE: SBA) explained the fluctuation in profit between Quarter 4/2010 and Quarter 4/2009:
- Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2010: VND32,099,202,122
- Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2009: (VND152,444,991)
- Difference: VND32,251,647,113
From late June 2010, the Company put Krong H’nang Hydroelectric Plant into commercial operation with a capacity of 64 MW (In 2009, there is only Khe Dien Hydroelectric Plant with a capacity of 9 MW), so electricity production was more higher than in Quarter 4/2009 and raise revenue to VND83,718,575,400. Therefore, profit after tax in Quarter 4/2010 increased sharply.
