SRF: Explanation for business result in Q2/2010

Seaprodex Refrigeration Industry Corporation (HoSE: SRF) has explained business result in Q2/2010 compared to Q2/2009 as follows:

Pre-tax profit Q2/2010 rose 10.71% or VND872,621,287 compared to Q2/2009.

Reasons:

* Profit of business activities climbed 6.35% or VND754,567,414. In Q2/2010, after evaluating ongoing projects, sales and gross profit increased. Gross profit of sales and services was up to 19.55% or VND2,822,677,896 compared to Q2/2009.

* Financial income in Q2/2010 dropped 22.44% or VND1,362,326,794 due to a VND1,205,289,022 increase of loan expenses.

* Other profit in Q2/2010 rose 29.59% or VND118,053,873 due to earnings from compensation for breach of contracts.
