PTC: Explanation for business result in Q2/2010

Post and Telecommunications Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company has explained business result in Q2/2010 as follows:

After-tax profit in Q2/2010 was (VND1,472 million)

Reasons:

* With difficulties from Q1/2010 due to narrowing production of the Telecommunication Material factory No.1, the company still had to deduct for depreciation of fixed asset as industrial production line (Producing copper cable, plastic pipe).

* Expenses increased but sales still remained unchanged. It negatively affected business result in Q2/2010.
