CMG: Change of the fiscal year 2010

CMC Corporation (CMC) has informed of change of the fiscal year 2010 as follows:

In March 2010, CMC presented to its shareholders in order to pass change of the fiscal year 2010 to start from 1st April and end on 31st March of the next year. Thus, the financial statement of 2010 of CMC is separated into two stages:

* 1st stage: from 01/01/2010 to 31/03/2010

* 2nd stage: from 01/04/2010 to 31/03/2011

According to Circular No.09/2010/TT-UBCKNN dated 15/01/2010, listed companies must submit examined audited financial statements of the half fiscal year after 45 days for financial statements of the parent companies and 60 days for integrated financial statements from the ended date of Q2. However, due to change of the fiscal year of CMC, the company will submit its examined audited financial statement of the half fiscal year 2010 after Q3/2010.
