VST: The record date for an issues bonus shares & a new share offering
Vietnam Sea Transport And Chartering Joint Stock Company announces the record date to close shareholder list:
* Stock symbol: VST
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: August 12, 2010
* (In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on August 12, 2010 and August 13, 2010, sellers will not receive rights)
* Record date: August 16, 2010
* Purpose:
1. Issuing bonus shares: 7,000,000 shares
- Exercise ratio: 100:17.5 (A shareholder owning 100 shares will receive 10 new shares)
- The volume receive will be rounded to units. The fractional parts (If any) will be cancelled
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 222 shares, the calculation will be: 222/100*17.5 = 38.85 new shares. Therefore, shareholder A will have the right to buy 38 new shares.
- The new shares are transferable.
- Rights to buy shares are transferred only once.
Place of implementation:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: At the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: At Vietnam Sea Transport And Chartering Joint Stock Company – 428 Nguyen Tat Thanh, District 4, HCMC
2. Implementing rights to buy additional shares: 12,000,000 shares
- Exercise ratio: 10:3 (A shareholder owning 01 share will receive 01 right, 10 rights will be entitled to buy 3 new shares)
Issue price: VND10,000/share
- The number of shares offered to existing shareholders will be rounded to units. The fractional parts and undistributed shares will be offered to other objects by the Board of Directors at a price not less than the one offered to the existing shareholders.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 222 shares, the calculation will be: 222/100*3 = 66.6 shares. Therefore, shareholder A will have the right to buy 66 new shares.
- The new shares are transferable.
- Rights to buy shares are transferred only once.
- Time to transfer rights: From August 24, 2010 to September 20, 2010
- Time to register to buy shares: From August 24, 2010 to September 24, 2010

- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: At the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
