PGS: Explanation for the change of over 5% in operating result in QII- 2010

According to the Financial Statement Quarter II/2010, net income increased 96.05% compared to Quarter II/2009. Petrovietnam Southern Gas JSC explained the increase in operating result of QII/ 2010 as follows:

- Gross sales of merchandise and services of Quarter II/2010 went up 140.29% compared to Quarter II/2009, so the revenue and profit have been increased accordingly.

- The Company has redempted the Provision for bad debt an amount of VND 2 bil, therefore, increased the profit.

- Expenses of Quarter II/2010 increased 64.69% compared to Quarter II/2009 while gross sales increased 140.29%, the company has managed its expense effectively, improved business efficiency of the company.
