IFS: Late submission of financial statement & annual report 2009 and time extension of holding the annual shareholders’ meeting 2010
Interfood Shareholding Company (INTERFOOD) has informed of late submission of the audited financial statement and the annual report of the fiscal year 2009 and time extension of holding the annual shareholders’ meeting 2010 as follows:
* INTERFOOD suspended its plant in Bien Hoa City at the end of 2009 and relocated all production line, equipment, inventory to a plant in the Tam Phuoc Industrial Zone. Taking this chance, the company has checked, re-evaluated asset value, receivable and payable accounts and identified inventory.
* Because of the complication of the above issues, it has required labor source and taken time to do them accurately. The result would be reflected and adjusted in the audited financial statement of 2009.
* The company expects to release the audited financial statement 2009 at the end of July 2010.
* Figures of the audited financial statement 2009 are necessary for making the annual report and holding the annual shareholders’ meeting, therefore, both would be late against the plan.
* Due to the above reasons, the company has extended time of submitting the audited financial statement and the annual report 2009 till 9th August 2010 and holding the annual shareholders’ meeting till 28th August 2010 (List of participants based on the record date of 18th June 2010 remained unchanged).
