Vietnam, Spain launch joint auditing initiative

The State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) and the Spanish Court of Audit (SCA) signed a cooperative agreement in Hanoi on June 28.

Under the new deal, both parties will exchange information, materials, knowledge and experiences in inspecting economic and financial activities in the public sector, methods of auditing, standards and assessing financial accountability.

They also agreed to raise the skills of auditing staff by holding joint professional training.

The SCA will assist the SAV to build and apply a system for selecting statistical samples in auditing and carry out further research.
