HLA: Explanation for loss in quarter 4/2009

Huu Lien Asia Corporation (HLA CORP) has explained loss in quarter 4/2009 as follows:

* Differences of exchange rate at the payment time for importing goods in quarter 4/2009 were: VND19,053,596,373.

* The company deducted VND822,386,811 provisions for bad receivables in quarter 4/2009 (From 06 months to 01 year) for whole 2009.

* Provision for invention devaluation for whole 2009 in quarter 4/2009 was VND1,395,531,184 (A cargo of shipbuilding steel was sold slow although cost of provision for the goods was lower than the market cost at the present time).

* The company deducted VND2,654,992,995 of financial expenses in advance to the 2009 loans.
