Hanoi to host International Fair 2009

The Hanoi Expo 2009 will be held in Hanoi from October 8-13 as part of the activities in the run-up to the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

According to the organising board, as many as 600 pavilions from 300 domestic and foreign businesses involved in industry, agriculture, construction, trade, science and technology and services have registered to take part in the event.

In addition to businesses from the four provinces of Cao Bang, Ninh Binh, Khanh Hoa and Bac Giang, the fair is expected to draw with more than 30 display booths from Romania, the Philippines, Laos, South Africa, India, the Republic of Korea and Taiwan. A fashion show and several seminars to boost industrial development in Hanoi and provide information on solutions to support exporters in the global economic downturn will also be held during the fair.
