VST: Purchase a new ship

Viet Nam Sea Transport and Chartering Joint Stock Company (VST) has informed of purchasing a new dry-bulk ship as follows:

Taking the advantage of low price of ships in the current time as well as strengthening operation, the company has determined to purchase one dry-bulk ship “VTC ACE” with capacity of 24,157 DWT. It was built in 1996 in Japan. On 27/07/2009, the company has been handed over the ship and put it into operation.

Purchasing the VTC ACE increases the number of ships of the company to 18 (average age: 14.7) with total capacity of 326,487 DWT.
