Press Release on public offering of the securities in Cambodia
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia would like to make a public announcement that recently there are companies have advertised, without permission from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia, through the media, to sell their securities to the public. This activity is violating to the Law on the Issuance and Trading of Non-Government Securities of Kingdom of Cambodia.
In accordance to article 16 of the Law on the Issuance and Trading of Non-Government Securities, all public offering of the securities in the Kingdom of Cambodia shall get the prior approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia and must comply with the requirements and procedures with existing law and regulations.
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia, the sole authority which regulates and develops the securities industry in the Kingdom of Cambodia, would like to inform to the public who is willing to buy any securities of any companies, they should thoroughly examine the legitimacy of the public offering of those companies by contacting to the Legal Affair Department of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia through Tel: 023 885 611 or Fax: 023 885 622 or E-mail: info@secc.gov.kh or contacting directly to the office of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia, builiding #99, Street 598, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
