PGC: Difference in business result

Petrolimex Gas Joint Stock Company (PGC) has explained business result in Q2/09 as follows:

- Pre-tax profit of the first 6 months 2009 in the Q2 consolidated income statement: VND42,525,133,810

- Pre-tax profit of the first 6 months 2009 audited by the auditing firm: VND42,498,065,312

- Difference: VND27,068,498

Reason: Initially, profit of joint venture activities was included in the pre-tax profit: VND171,400,354. However, after adjustment, it was added to the after-tax profit: VND144,331,856.
