GMD: Explanation for business result in Q2/09

Gemadept Corporation (GMD) has explained business result in Q2/09 as follows:

- Pre-tax profit in Q2/09: VND125,242,431,104

- Pre-tax profit in Q1/09: VND33,069,159,656

- Pre-tax profit in Q2/09 was equal to 378% of pre-tax profit in Q1/09

Reason: Gross profit in Q2 was VND75,656,642,569. During the time, the financial market started recovery, the company had advantages of securities investment.
