Int’l property meeting to discuss market solutions
An international property conference later this year will look at ways to ensure sustainable development of Viet Nam’s property market, a seminar heard yesterday.
The conference will be part of the Viet Nam Property Exhibition (Propex Viet Nam 2009) to be held from December 17 to 20, it was announced at the seminar held in the city by the HCM City Real Estate Co (HoREA) and Nha Vui Architecture and Construction joint-stock company.
Key speakers at the two-day conference (December 17-18) will include well-known local and foreign property experts, representatives of relevant government agencies and real estate companies from home and abroad.
The event will be held at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in the Phu My Hung new urban area in HCM City’s District 7.
" Propex Viet Nam can be considered as the foundation for property exhibitions to be held annually in the coming years," said Le Hoang Chau, chairman of HoREA.
Chau said the event, the first international property exhibition held in Viet Nam by HoREA, will also include the Propex Gala and the launch of the www.propexvietnam.com.vn website.
Chau said so far 27 companies and agencies have booked 120 stalls for the property expo.
Real estate firms registering for Propex Viet Nam 2009 include Vinatrust, Thu Duc House, Intresco, Tai Nguyen, Novaland, Phat Dat, Khang Thong, Nam Long, Dreamhouse, Vinacapital, Dat Lanh, Sacomreal, Hung Hung Thinh, Edenreal, An Vien, Surbana and R Design. The last two firms are from Singapore.
The organisers said they have promoted Propex Viet Nam 2009 at international property exhibitions abroad.
