Vietnam remains Guangxi’s biggest foreign partner

In the first half of this year, two-way trade turnover between Guangxi and ASEAN countries reached US$1.85 billion in which trade value between Guangxi and Vietnam alone hit US$1.5 billion, accounting for more than 80 percent.

During the reviewed period, trade turnover between Guangxi and Malaysia and Myanmar also sharply increased by 76.8 percent and 108 percent, respectively.

In comparison with the same period last year, the total trade turnover between Guangxi and ASEAN countries fell by 16.1 percent.

However, export-import turnover between Guangxi and ASEAN countries posted a positive growth rate in the first half of this year.

This was the first time trade turnover between Guangxi and ASEAN countries showed a positive growth rate in the last 10 months.
