PPC: Report on trading result and new transaction

Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (PPC: PLPC) has announced trading result and an announcement of continually offering a part of State-owned capital as follows:

- Trader: The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN)

- Affiliated people at the listing firm: Mr. Pham Kim Lam (PLPC Chairman at the BOD) and Nguyen Khac Son (PLPC CEO)

- Owning share volume before trading: 221,813,226 shares (67.99% of charter capital)

- Register share volume for selling (the first tranche): 2,771,000 shares (0.85%) from June 15, 2009 to August 15, 2009

- Sold share volume (the first tranche) as at July 17, 2009: 2,409,560 shares; the remaining 361,440 shares are being traded

- Register share volume for selling (the second tranche): 2,771,000 shares (0.85% charter capital)

- Owning share volume after trading (for 02 tranches): 216,271,226 shares (66.29% charter capital)

- Trading method: Put through and order matching

- Trading period: From July 31, 2009 to October 31, 2009
