PM asks for $52 mln from construction corp
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked the Ministry of Finance to reclaim nearly VND900 billion (US$52 million) from the construction giant Vinaconex (VCG), the government office said.
The amount to be taken back from Vinaconex, or Vietnam Construction and Import Export Corporation, includes VND810.76 billion ($45.4 million) of surplus from its initial public offering.
It also includes VND73.43 billion ($4.1 million) of state capital increase from the time of identifying the value of the enterprise to the time of Vinacomex becoming a joint stock corporation.
The PM asked that the reclamation of all the concerned amounts be completed by the end of August.
