Gas price falls by VND4000/12kg

The retail price of a 12kg gas bottle has fallen by VND4000, the HCM City Oil and Gas Company announced on July 30.

This means selling prices will not exceed VND208,000/bottle. The decrease is attributed to the fact that the world’s gas price for August delivery dropped by US$505/tonne, down US$15/tonne compared to July’s figure.

Many other gas companies namely Vinagas and Elfgas are also considering plans to reduce their retail gas prices on August 1.
