FPT Software signs agreement to popularise CMMi-5
The Ministry of Information and Communications has signed a co-operation agreement with FPT Software to popularise CMMi-5 technology in Viet Nam.
The ministry said it expected Vietnamese IT firms to gain certificates in CMMi-5, which is the world’s highest standard for software production.
Digital signature seminar to be held in capital on Tuesday
The Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to hold a seminar on digital signature in the capital next Thursday to help businesses adopt e-Trade and e-Government.
Similar seminars, designed to boost IT application awareness in 2006-10, will also be held in Da Nang, HCM City and Can Tho from July 30 to August 8.
Vietnamese version of Kaspersky anti-virus software goes on sale
The Nam Truong Son Group has introduced a Vietnamese version of the Kaspersky anti-virus software.
The group said Kaspersky users who hold licences could download the new Vietnamese version on the Net.
Viettel launches overseas service for pre-paid subscribers
Viettel, one of Viet Nam’s largest mobile service providers, said it had launched an international roaming service for its pre-paid subscribers.
The company will initially provide an international roaming service in 21 countries and territories worldwide – Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Australia, Canada, the US, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
The company’s pre-paid subscribers, who have a balance of at least VND200,000, can register for the service by sending the message "CVQT" to 138.
