Financial summit to hit HCMC open this week

Hanoi-based Vietnam Report Company will host its annual financial management conference in Ho Chi Minh City this Friday.

Organizers said Vietnam’s 500 top entrepreneurs and leading local and global financial experts would attend the event.

The VNR500 Summit, as the conference is known, is organized by the VNR500 Club, a roundtable grouping of Vietnam’s 500 largest companies.

Hundreds of participants including representatives from banks, auditing firms, fund management companies and foreign trade commissions are expected to attend the conference.

VNR500 is ranked on the basis of revenues, industry market share, profit, growth rates, labor figures, owner equity and total assets.

Stated-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) topped the VNR500 rankings last year, while the Financing and Promoting Technology joint-stock company FPT ranked first among the country’s 500 largest private enterprises.
