Army petroleum corporation established

The General Logistics Department under the Ministry of National Defence held a meeting on July 2 to announce the establishment of the Army Petroleum Corporation.

The Army Petroleum Company, established on September 30, 1965, has now become the Army Petroleum Corporation.

The corporation will specialize in four main fields: directly importing and trading petroleum for national defence activities and economic development; importing, producing, repairing and trading petroleum and gas materials; manufacturing industrial and civil steel and building petroleum stations and depots; and trading petroleum for road and river transportation.
