Dung Quat Oil Refinery successfully mixes A92 and A95 petrol

The residue fluid continuous cracking (RFCC) unit, the most important part of the Dung Quat Oil Refinery, on July 1 successfully mixed a batch of petrol with an octane rating of RON, MON (A92 and A95) to achieve the Vietnamese standard.

Currently operating at 70 percent of its capacity, the RFCC unit has been able to produce LPG gas, LCO oil and DCO oil.

On average, the RFCC unit’s total output includes 90cu.m of LPG gas per hour (equivalent to 2,160 cu.m of LPG per day) and 270 cu.m of petrol per hour (equivalent to 6,480 cu.m of petrol per day).

The Dung Quat Oil Refinery is scheduled to operate at 85 percent of capacity by July 25 and 100 percent of capacity by August 25 and will pass final inspection on October 25.

The Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company, under the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Corporation, on July 4 will export the first batch of products through the Dung Quat Oil refinery with 10,000 cu.m of LPG gas and 10,000 cu.m of A92, A95 petrol.
